June 5, 2018 by Tony

Bacon wrapped smoked corn on the cob is something the whole family will go crazy for! You won’t need to slather this corn in salt and butter because the bacon gives the corn the perfect salty taste paired with the amazing smoked flavor.

Once you try this good luck just eating one. The distinct flavor you get from smoking your corn wrapped in bacon will definitely have your friends and family asking for seconds.

Course Side Dish
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 45 minutes
Total Time 1 hour
Servings 5

Ingredients

  • 5 ears Corn
  • 10 slices Bacon
  • 1 tsp Black pepper fresh ground
  • 1/4 cup Butter (optional) melted
  • 1 tsp Chili powder

Instructions

  1. Remove husks and silk from corn. Rinse and dry.

  2.  Wrap each ear of corn with 2 pieces of bacon, and secure with toothpicks. Don't wrap too tightly because while the bacon cooks it will shrink and fall off corn.

  3. Preheat smoker to 375 degrees with the lid closed. Place corn on the grill and close lid.

  4. Allow to cook for about 45 minutes or until the bacon has cooked to your crispiness liking. Depending on the thickness of the bacon you use will vary cooking time plus or minus about 10 minutes.

  5. Remove corn from smoker, drizzle with melted butter and dust with pepper and chili powder.
