Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 2 hours
Total Time 2 hours 20 minutes
Servings 6

Ingredients

  • 12 Drumsticks thawed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3-4 tbsp Traeger Rub
  • 1/2 cup Siracha
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seed oil
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken under cold running water, dry with paper towel.

  2. Place drumsticks in mixing bowl and coat with olive oil.

  3. Add Traeger Rub and rub thoroughly onto drumsticks.

  4. Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees with the lid closed.

  5. Next I hang all the drumsticks on my Traeger Chicken leg hanger. If you don't have one you can place chicken directly on the grill.

  6. Once smoker has reached 250 degrees put chicken on and close lid.

  7. Cook for two hours or until cook temperature reach 170 degree. I like cooking my drumsticks a little longer to make a more tender and easier to bite the meat off.

  8.  Once Chicken reaches 170 degrees take chicken off smoker and rest.

  9. While the Chicken is resting put the remaining ingredients into a pot and stir together well. Bring to a simmer.

  10. Place all drumsticks in a large mixing bowl and add sauce.
